Here shown 500 times scale down version of a 500 liter bag for mammalian cultivation. The impeller is only 45 mm in diameter and the vessel 110 mm diameter supporting from 250 to 1.000 mL of media.

In the shown setup agitation with a single impeller driven from the bottom by magnetic forces. Could also be driven from the top – all depends on the requirement.
