Agitation details and drives

Hi there,

There are so many ways, methods of supplying kinetic energy to a bioreactor or a fermenter for agitation. More or less all agitation (except air lift) is performed via electrically driven servo motors of various design. Most servo motors require some sort of adaptor and coupling.

We have assembled a fair amount of information to guide anyone through the labyrinth. Find the info here – www.cercell.com/support/drive-system-details

The most popular adaptor designs used by the 25 global PCS manufactures are the ID39-B from Sartorius and ID25-A from Applikon.

If you have questions or can find mistakes I will appreciate to hear from you.
