Agitation details and drives

Hi there,

There are so many ways, methods of supplying kinetic energy to a bioreactor or a fermenter. More or less all agitation (except air lift) is performed via electrically driven motors of various design. Most servo motors require some sort of adapter and coupling.

The strongest adaptor designs used by the 25 global PCS manufactures are the ID39-B from Sartorius and ID25-A from Applikon.
