DTU Chemical Engineering’s main activities lie within the areas of product design, process design and production in the chemical, biotechnological, pharmaceutical, food technological and energy technological industries
School of Life Sciences and Facility Management (IBT) in Switzerland is an international team of experts in the field of cultivation of microorganisms and plant, animal as well as human cell and tissue cultures.
Cell Technology Group, (School of Biotechnology, Royal Institute of Technology, KTH) permanent staff has a long experience in cell-based culture bioprocesses and hESC culture. Today, the group has activities related to biopharmaceutical processes, i.e. very high cell density perfusion, metabolic flux analysis modelling for medium design; and activities related to hESCs, i.e. investigation of optimal 3D bioreactor conditions for the expansion of neurospheres and hESCs.
